Kari Samantha (born April 28th, 1967) Wuhrer is a famous American actress and performer. Her career started when she was still in her teens. Her most notable performances include Maggie Beckett, an actress in Sliders as well as Sheriff Samantha Parker from the horror comedy Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer is the daughter Karin Noble (nee Noble) and is an accountant for payroll and German American Andrew Wuhrer (a car dealer and police officer). There are three siblings. When she was young she sang in nightclubs and slipped out to sing. At the Wooster School, at 13 years old, she began studying drama. Then, at the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University, Marymount Manhattan College at Columbia University and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London with the well-known teacher Uta Hagen.
