Amidst the potatoes, corn and wheat that are grown in the sprawling and spacious farmlands of Boise, Idaho, Torrie Wilson, one of wrestling's most athletic wrestlers, emerged. Wilson became a sports entertainer following her and her boyfriend visited WCW on the backstage. She ended up accompanying Scott Steiner to the ring as well, and she remained working in the ring for almost a decade in the years following. In addition to competing in WCW, Wilson was also the manager for competitors like David Flair, Billy Kidman, The Filthy Animals, and Shane Douglas. Wilson was offered a job by WWE in 2001 when it purchased WCW. In one of the most important eras in sports and entertainment Wilson's athletic ability and a passion for entertainment were the ideal match for WWE. Wilson played an integral role in WCW's efforts to break into WWE. The two of them teamed with Stacy Keibler, her friend and, sometimes rival, who became her key partner. When the war was finally fought by the WWE, Wilson became a key part of the women's division in WWE as she fought in memorable battles with the likes of Keibler, Sable and Melina. In fact, Dawn Marie, who was the ferocious enemy of her family, had to be defeated.
